Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead our development projects from conception through financial closing. This role requires a strong focus on client relationships and a comprehensive understanding of the real estate development process, including permitting in the U.S. The ideal candidate will have modular construction experience and a keen eye for detail, ensuring successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Leadership: Oversee all phases of the real estate development process, from initial conception to financial closing. Ensure all project milestones are met on time and within budget.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and development partners. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Manage the permitting process, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. Coordinate with regulatory agencies and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Financial Acumen: Read and interpret proformas to understand project financials. Collaborate with finance teams to ensure projects remain financially viable and profitable.
  • Estimating Support: While little estimating experience is required, work closely with estimators to develop accurate budgets and forecasts. Ensure all estimates align with project goals.
  • Detail Orientation: Maintain a high level of attention to detail throughout the project, ensuring quality standards are met and documentation is thorough.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting frameworks to track project progress and performance metrics. Utilize data analysis to generate insights that inform decision-making and provide stakeholders with regular updates on project status, risks, and achievements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Real Estate, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 8+ years of experience in project management in the real estate development sector
  • Preferred experience in modular construction. Not required.
  • Proven ability to manage projects from conception to financial closing, with a strong understanding of the U.S. real estate process and permitting requirements.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a client-facing approach.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to read and interpret financial documents and proformas.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are a plus.
