Position Overview

Vantem is seeking a highly experienced Sr Project Manager to lead our real estate initiatives. This role will involve partnering with landowners, overseeing project managers from conception through financial closing, and managing the Permitting and Compliance Manager as well as third-party land surveyors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in real estate development, exceptional negotiation skills, and a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Management Oversight: Lead and coordinate the efforts of project managers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Financial Closing: Collaborate with finance teams to structure and secure funding for projects. Manage the financial closing process, ensuring all documentation and approvals are in place.
• Regulatory Compliance: Work closely with the Permitting and Compliance Manager to navigate local, state, and federal regulations, ensuring all projects meet necessary compliance standards.
• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for real estate projects, aligning with the company’s growth objectives and market opportunities.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments, including finance, marketing, and construction, to ensure successful project execution and alignment with corporate goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Urban Planning, or a related field; 
• 12+ years of experience in real estate development or a related field, with a proven track record of managing complex projects from conception to closing.
• Strong knowledge of real estate finance, market analysis, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor a team, fostering collaboration and accountability.
• Proficient in project management software, smartsheets and tools.
