Position Overview

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President of Structured Finance to lead and manage all aspects of structured finance, financial partnerships, and funding strategies for Vantem. This role will work closely with the executive team to develop and execute financial strategies that will drive growth and ensure the successful execution of our projects. The VP of Structured Finance will be responsible for managing complex financial structures, securing capital, and fostering relationships with investors, banks, and other key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Capital Strategy & Financing:
  • Develop and execute strategies to secure both short-term and long-term financing for real estate development projects, including debt and equity structures.
  • Manage relationships with institutional investors, banks, and private equity firms.
  • Structure complex financial transactions to support development and operational needs.
• Financial Oversight & Reporting:
  • Oversee financial reporting related to structured finance transactions, ensuring transparency and alignment with overall company goals.
  • Conduct regular financial modeling, forecasting, and risk assessment to support project funding decisions.
• Market Research & Analysis:
  • Conduct research to identify emerging trends in structured finance and capital markets.
  • Evaluate new financing opportunities, investor interests, and capital structures that align with the company’s long-term goals.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work with senior management, including the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Development Officer, to support growth initiatives.
  • Collaborate with legal, operations, and development teams to ensure smooth execution of financial strategies.
• Team Leadership & Development:
  • Lead and mentor a team of financial professionals, enhancing their skills in structuring complex deals and improving operational efficiency.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and collaboration within the finance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• 15+ years of experience in structured finance, investment banking, or real estate finance, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successful structured finance transactions in commercial real estate or development sectors.
• Strong understanding of financial modeling, project financing, and capital market trends.
• Exceptional leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple complex transactions and projects in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in financial software, modeling tools, and Microsoft Excel.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, MBA) are a plus.
