Breakthrough Energy Ventures, founded by Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos, Richard Branson to name a few, recently contributed to the Series A investment in Vantem a panel technology company constructing affordable, energy-efficient homes on a large scale. First launched in South America and the Caribbean, Vantem will use its new funding to build 15 factories over the next seven years with plans already in place for Arizona, California, Texas and the Dakotas.

By creating relationships with developers on each factory and with millions of square feet behind them, Vantem is building affordable, hurricane, earthquake and wildfire resistant homes and buildings designed to achieve net-zero status.

Vantem CEO Chris Anderson joins Dave Cooper to discuss:
– The design and materials used to build volumetric modular units
– The factory/developer business model
– Global plans and factory roll-out
