Vantem Appoints George Satt as President of Affinity

Veteran manufacturing and construction executive appointed to lead the division after a year of notable growth following Vantem’s acquisition of Affinity in May 2023.

Greensboro, NC – June 24, 2024

Vantem, a trusted partner helping developers to increase profitability by reducing project and financing costs with energy-efficient factory-built structures, has announced the appointment of George Satt as the new President of its factory in Lakeland, GA, Affinity, a Vantem company. This strategic leadership change comes as part of Vantem’s ongoing expansion and commitment to factory-built innovation in the U.S. market.

George Satt brings over 30 years of industry experience to Affinity, with a distinguished career marked by successful leadership roles in construction and manufacturing. Prior to his work as President of Vantem’s international division, Satt co-founded Forestworld, an international construction products manufacturer with customers such as Home Depot, Lowe’s, Costco, Leroy Merlin, and B&Q in 12 countries. Satt’s expertise in operational efficiency, sustainable building practices, and market development will be instrumental in driving Affinity’s growth and enhancing its product offerings.

“George’s extensive background and proven track record make him the ideal leader to propel Affinity into its next phase of growth,” said Chris Anderson, CEO of Vantem. “George’s vision and leadership will be crucial as we continue to build the ‘Vantem Way’ by delivering high-quality, sustainable building solutions to our partners.”

Satt will replace Wayne Morrison who assumed the role upon Vantem’s acquisition of Affinity in May 2023. During Morrison’s tenure, Affinity began the implementation of Vantem’s production system and energy-efficiency build, growing sales by over 50% in the process. Morrison will be focused on Vantem’s next acquisition expected to close in August.

As President, Satt will oversee all aspects of Affinity’s operations, including production, business development, and partner relations. He will also play a key role in integrating Affinity’s capabilities with Vantem’s broader strategic initiatives, ensuring a seamless alignment with the company’s mission to solve developer costs and financing by leveraging proprietary modular technology.

“I am honored to join Affinity and continue to grow alongside Vantem’s dynamic team,” said Satt. “I look forward to working with our talented employees and partners to drive innovation, improve operational efficiencies, and expand our market presence. Together, we will build on Affinity’s strong foundation and continue to deliver exceptional value to our partners.”

To date, Vantem’s proprietary technology has enabled Affinity to expand its capacity to deliver higher-quality and higher energy-efficient homes that are more hurricane and climate-resistant. With Affinity’s primary market located in Florida and the Southeast, these homes are well-suited for homebuyers who have experienced the destruction caused by hurricanes and are looking for resilient new homes or rebuild options.
